The British Corporation of Punta Arenas created, together with The British School, the Technical Training Agency (OTEC) in 1989.

This institution enjoys a recognized career in language teaching with 30 years in educational activity. Currently certified by the quality standard NCh 2728: 2015 to design and implement training courses in different areas.

The mission is to design and implement training courses in the areas of languages ​​and communication, computing and information and administration, that meet the growing needs of our users to achieve better performance in a globalized world.

Vision

The vision is to go to the forefront in the pedagogical field promoting the use of technology, as well as the professional development of all its members, deepening and expanding the areas of training, through teamwork and effective communication. The international certification of student competencies is a yearning shared by all its members and is integrated into the development guidelines of the Chilean Magellan and Antarctic region.

Our teachers

The teaching staff is highly qualified with professional degrees and postgraduate courses conducted abroad and also in Chile. English teachers are all internationally certified and have the skills to teach children, youth and adults.
